about
It has not been an easy upbringing helping my family with my nonverbal autistic sister Julia. But we can honestly say we don’t know where we would be without her. The values, patience and experience she has shown us and our inner circle of friends and family speak for itself. I have a vision and a goal to write a good amount of songs pushing the importance of autism and special needs awareness to the world. This one's for you Jules.
lyrics
So many twists and turns
So much change
Strength and power matter
As our lives rearrange
Nobody knows the sadness
That lies deep inside
Good friends and family tend
To help clear your mind
And there are so many roads to follow
So many thoughts are shallow
I’ve got someone always right by my side
Sister, won’t you stay with me
Sister, take a walk with me
Sister, there will be a better day
'Cause the good vibes are here with us to stay
When you smile to me proudly
It makes me feel good
To think that life’s about love and joy
At least I think it should
We all get angry with the stress of life
And forget the little things
So open up and look around
At the fun life brings
And there are so many roads to follow
So many thoughts are shallow
I’ve got someone always right by my side
Sister, won’t you stay with me
Sister, take a walk with me
Sister, there will be a better day
'Cause the good vibes are here with us to stay
Yeah, yeah
Oh they're here to stay
There are so many roads to follow
So many thoughts are shallow
I’ve got someone always right by my side
Sister, won’t you stay with me
Sister, take a walk with me
Sister, there will be a better day
'Cause the good vibes are here with us to stay
